I have been doing some extra bits and pieces of sewing this last couple of weeks and trying to teach my youngest daughter how to sew with a sewing machine. She has been asking me for a good long while to show her how to use the sewing machine. I had to think of a simple project for her to do, and knowing that most 12 year olds have the attention span of a gnat, it had to be something that wouldn't take forever and that she could see some results fairly quickly. Isn't she a clever girl! She was really pleased with how they came out; now she wants to do some more sewing! Sunglasses case next I think.
